With Fall Semester Fast Approaching...

The panic is setting in!

So, this semester (which starts a week from tomorrow... eek!) I am tackling 17 (count them, 17!) units of classes I was avoiding. Stupid, right? But I've been reading the Harry Potter books and, as stupid as it might sound, I am just going to channel Hermione Granger. After doing tons of housework today, I devised a schedule that, if I follow it, should make my life much easier and this semester less stressful!

Monday:
  • Psychology 8-9:20am
  • Trig 3:45-5:05pm
Tuesday:
  • laundry
  • online classwork for LIB 107 & 110
Wednesday:
  • Psychology 8-9:20am
  • Trig 3:45-5:05om
  • Geology 7-10:05pm
Thursday:
  • Geology Lab 9:30am-12:35pm
  • Communications 7-10:05pm
Friday:
  • Do all homework
  • Relax
Saturday:
  • Weekend chores (dust, vacuum, clean bathroom)
  • Wash one car per week (mine, mom’s, dad’s)
  • Relax
Sunday:
  • Do any and all required readings for the following week
  • Study for any tests
  • Relax
Basically, I am not looking forward to this semester too much, but at the same time, I am looking forward to the chance to push myself, to succeed in something that seems impossible. All this to be an Otter!

Future mascot!

I can do this. I know I can. I'll just probably need a lot of encouragement and stress management strategies to survive. Eye on the prize will be my motto!
