I MET TRACI, YOU GUYS!

It’s the nicest feeling in the world when you’re nervous and your idol spots you in a crowd, looks at you, recognizes you instantly and goes “OH MY GOSH!”

That’s exactly what Traci did, and hugged me, then grabbed my hand. “Have you met Lisa yet? No? Oh, she is gonna wanna meet you!”

So she carted me over to Lisa (who is even more gorgeous in person, as is Traci!) and Traci goes “Lisa, there’s someone I want you to meet in person.”

Lisa instantly recognized me, too. “OH MY GOD!” And she gave me a huge hug.

There were True Enchantment people everywhere (good god they’re beautiful and SO nice) and Traci’s hubby, BJ, and her parents were there. Her set was amazing, even though she later reported she had airplane ear and thought she was offkey the whole time (which she wasn’t). She and Lisa did a cover of “I See the Light” and got feedback and all that:

Lisa: “It’s shifted alright!”

Everyone was laughing through the end of the song. And after waiting forever afterward, she came over to talk to us (my mom and I) and Lisa joined us, too. Lisa’s heard of my dad’s band (WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THAT?? SHUT. UP.) and we goofed around for a bit, took pictures, then Traci invited us to dinner but mom wanted to get back home so she told me to go to AX in the summer and we’d meet up and all that.

All in all, I couldn’t imagine a more perfect person to look up to. She’s the sweetest little lady ever!
