Hello! Well, the third of July has been a fun day! I woke up at 10 (sleeping in for me, these days), showered and got ready, and went to meet Hannah for lunch at the mall. We grabbed California rolls, which were cut poorly and much too big, so that was a bit disappointing, but no biggie.
We wandered Forever 21 for a bit, then ventured to Goodwill, where we found a GORGEOUS blue/purple pearlescent teapot! I snapped it up, along with a cute journal. I'll post pictures of them later :)
Then we went to Kathy's Kafe, a cute little coffeeshop/bakery in my hometown that neither of us had been to. They have a Build Your Own Frappe option, so I got a hazelnut and graham cracker (was originally going to be hazelnut and chocolate covered espresso beans, but they were out of espresso beans!) and Hannah got english toffee and graham cracker. SO good. Definitely going back there!
So delicious! Also, I should mention that the atmosphere was completely wonderful. We cozied up on a huge comfy couch, and there were armchairs and wicker chairs... basically any comfy seating option you could think of besides a recliner! Plus, Kathy and the sweet girl working with her (I can't recall her name) they were SO so sweet and friendly. Couldn't have asked for a happier coffee experience!
Hannah and I also went to Walmart (I got some paint swatches) and Michael's (I got gorgeous blue yarn and circular needles and Hannah got some pink and green yarn and I think a couple other goodies!). I'm finally going to learn how to knit in the round! HATS!
The next few days are big ones. Fourth of July barbecue at Val's, Moonrise Kingdom with my honey on Thursday since we didn't get to see it last time we were together, Friday off, and then a weekend working on clearing out my future apartment! So excited to start getting things together-- and I think I've finally picked out the paint colors! YAY!
Hope you guys are all having a nice week and have a wonder fourth of July if you're in the USA (or anywhere else, if you're so inclined... I know the US is big on celebrating other country's holidays as an excuse to get snockered.
Have fun!

Sounds like fun. Happy fourth
