I am a huge Sofia Coppola dork. I don't necessarily love all of her movies, but the ones I do love, I love with fervor. Marie Antoinette is one of those.
Marie Antoinette struck a chord with me from the moment I saw it. I had always been interested in the lady herself, so watching a film that did not demonize her was lovely. Through research, I had already known that the words "let them eat cake" were inspired by vicious rumors and were never actually said by her, so I'd always felt quite bad for her.
If you've never seen it, it's a lovely film, with absolute to-die-for visuals. A lot of them, if you can picture yourself there, make you feel just wonderful. These in particular give off the sort of feeling I want this summer: nature, relaxation, freedom, friends, love.

| They're sipping fresh milk in this bit. I've always wanted to do that. |

| These two have always reminded me of my best friend, Shannen, and myself. Especially when nomming on strawberries! |
