Thrifty

I have recently developed a love for treasure hunting in thrift stores. It started when I was perusing for a red corduroy jacket like the one Bilbo Baggins wears in The Hobbit (because my friend Hannah and I are awesome and are totally dressing up for the midnight showing because, well, yolo, haha!) and found the absolute perfect one for about $5. I never thought in a million years that I would find one, and after looking at expensive ones on etsy it was such a relief to find it in the thrift store!

Ever since then I've been venturing into thrift stores a lot more often, and although we don't have that many "great" ones here, we have a few and they are filled with fun things, if you look hard enough!

My new favorite mug (pictured in this post) actually came from the thrift store! I'm so happy when I find things I love there.

Anyway, I guess Thrifty Thursday will be filled with things I find in thrift stores, regardless of whether or not I buy them!

Yesterday, mom and I ventured to the huge and perfectly organized Goodwill and I found a yellow cardigan, and a big yellow sweater, I just love them! They're so comfy and pretty. My mom found the skirt in the middle and it was so fun that I had to have it! I have a few things it'll go with so I'm pretty excited!

Also found a little planter for my new cactus and A DOPEY FIGURINE! All he needs is a bit of polishing up and he can join my collection of Disney figurines up in the window (which I'll make a separate post about!).
