My 20th Birthday!

I know it's been a while but I have been so busy lately.

August 26th was my birthday! It was a Friday so I had no school :)

I woke up to this in the kitchen:

My mom wraps presents so cute... she even used my princess paper that I used for everyone last Christmas :)

I got ready, and my goodness, the day was a blur. Matt came over earlyish even though he'd been up really late the night before, which was sweet of him. We (my parents, Matt and I) went out to Camille's for lunch (my favorite sandwich place!). I got my favorite sandwich there, the Camille's Club, and shared half of it with my mom, who arrived late.

Then we went back to my house. And mom wanted me to open my gifts! A few of the things I received are a manicure set (with a fancy electric buffer and everything!), GLORIOUS LL Bean hearthside slippers (pictured below) and the most perfect apron of all time from Matt, I Love Lucy style! I made out like a bandit.

I believe this is when we watched Tangled, of course, because it's me and obviously we had to. I am convinced Rapunzel and I share a birthday because hers is in the summer and she is me in cartoon form, but I digress :)

And then we went to the fair! My parents had purchased Matt and I unlimited ride wristbands, but first he and I walked around a lot and looked at the animals (my favorite part). We had delicious tacos and perfect lemonade for dinner, and then we went on a bunch of rides (some of which my dad joined us for! For a 63-year-old, he does damn well on rides). It was so much fun :)

Then we went back to the house and my parents crashed, but Matt and I spent more time together. It was a lovely day, thanks to my lovely family and my darling sweetheart (who is part of the family, of course)!
